Kenya Moore is tired of the fake news, so the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star took to Instagram this week to shut down rumors of her firing from the popular reality TV show.
” … To the outlets that regurgitate their fake, desperate stories” shame on you lazy MFs,” Moore captioned the glamorous photo of her in hair and makeup. “Unless you hear it from me, it’s fake news. Reviewing my latest offer now.”
Rumors of Moore being axed as a main cast member began to swirl earlier this month amid reports that friends of the show Marlo Hampton and Eva Marcille might be joining the RHOA family full time. Video of a green screen confessional featuring Hampton further fueled speculation that she was in and the former Miss USA was out.
On Wednesday, fan account @realhousewivesatlanta noted that no official decision had been made on whether Moore would stay or go, adding that the show was still early in filming and that the “Gone with Wind” fabulous cast member was still in the process of negotiating her contract. Moore, who’s expecting her first child, seemed to confirm this report by “liking” the post.
However, the show has been taping in Miami and other housewives, including rumored replacements Marlo and Eva, have been included in the recordings but Kenya has been absent. While sources say she is still negotiating her contract, others say she is absent because she is fired.
