Question: At what age range are women more likely than men to cheat?
a. 18-29
b. 30 -39
c. 50 -59
d. 60-69
Answer: In general, men are more likely than women to cheat, but the gender gap in infidelity varies by age, according to a study conducted on General Social Survey.
As the graph above shows, for ever-married adults ages 18 to 29, women are slightly more likely than men to be guilty of infidelity (11% vs. 10%). However, this gap quickly reverses among those ages 30 to 34 and grows wider in older age groups.
It’s also important to point out that a report out of the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University found that for the first time in modern history, women are cheating at nearly the same rate as men.
