After the end of his marriage to high school sweetheart and fellow Food Network star Gina Neely four years ago, Pat Neely has found love again and remarried. Plus, he’s also expecting a new baby.
The former star of “Down Home with the Neelys” wed Tamika Parks on October 7, 2017, according to a Georgia marriage certificate obtained by The Blast. While Neely has not posted any photos or acknowledgments of his wife of eight months online, the website reported Parks posted an image of herself on their wedding day (sans Neely).
“He knows how to make me smile. #HappyDay #IMarriedMyBestFriend #ThankYouGod🙏🏽,” she captioned the image.
Another image from Parks’ baby shower was also reportedly shared and Parks appeared to be well into her pregnancy.
This is the first news of Neely moving on following the end of his 20-year-marriage to Gina Neely in 2014. The latter appeared on Bravo’s “To Rome For Love,” where she hoped to find romance abroad. The duo rose to widespread fame in 2008 following the premiere of their show, which was followed by them hosting the road trip series, “Road Tasted with the Neelys.”
“Something like that is always devastating because my whole thing was to spend the rest of my life with my high school sweetheart,” Neely told BET’s “Lift Every Voice” in 2015.
He’s largely been mum on the split, while his ex-wife has been a lot more outspoken about it.
“I remember leaving with my purse and my duffle bag, and I was out of there,” she told People magazine in February. “I haven’t spoken to Pat in four years.
“I don’t wish him any harm, but he’s never reached out to me… I guess he’s well? Our girls [Spenser, 29, from Gina’s previous marriage, and Shelbi, 23] are older so we’re not really co-parenting or anything.”
