Questions remain after video of two Katy, Texas police officers violently arresting a woman outside her home surfaced on social media.
The video, posted to Instagram last week, shows officers wrestle the young woman to the ground after reportedly smelling weed in her car. One of the officers is seeing forcing the woman’s hands behind her back while the other places his knee on her neck.
“Hold on, I don’t have nothing!” she shouts as police struggle to cuff her. ” … I just had to get my stuff (from my car).”
It’s not long before a bystander who filmed the incident confronts police about why they’re being so rough with the young woman.
“She’s not resisting,” he tells officers. “Why are y’all being so rough to her?”
“Get your ass in the house,” one of the cops shouts back. Two other officers approach the man and tell him to run along, but he insists on staying to check on the woman.
“Why do I have to get in the house?” he asks, after which police threaten to arrest him.
“Get in the f—–g house!” the officers shout. “Get in the house!”
