Hip-hop artist Kanye West can’t seem to catch a break ever since his recent “slavery was a choice” and “the mob can’t make me not love” President Trump outbursts. On Friday, new accusations arose from the rapper’s own charity who blasted him for lack of financial support. However, things quickly escalated between West’s wife and the organization’s co-founder after they exchanged blows in a Twitter feud.
Donda’s House Inc., which is a non-profit organization the rapper founded in 2013 to honor his deceased mother Donda West and help Chicago’s youth, took to Twitter Friday morning to expose West for his insufficient contributions and said they’ve tried to make “multiple attempts” at contacting Kanye for financial aid.
The last month has been incredible difficult for us, so we are releasing this statement: https://t.co/q2oDWABtiC.

The charity released the following statement:
“We ask that those who feel hurt, angered by or frustrated with Kanye West not penalize or throw away their support, respect and advocacy for us. We ask that as you boycott and protest Kanye West, that you not forget that we are a non-profit organization that like other non-profits needs donations, corporate support and volunteers, ” Donda’s House claimed. “We have been unable to secure the financial support of Kanye despite multiple attempts, and despite those early conversations about his plan of support and advocacy for the youth in our programs. Dr. Donda West’s motto and our motto at Donda’s House is ‘share your truth’ so today, we are electing to do just that.”
Shortly after Che ‘Rhymefest’ Smith, one of the charity’s co-founder, chimed in on the claims against West and rallied for support from rapper Drake who allegedly took shots at Kanye in his new ‘Duppy Freestyle’. Rhymefest tweeted, “I’m asking @Drake to help the part of Chicago Kanye has Abandoned! Please contact @DondasHouse.”

Yeezy’s wife jumped to her husband’s defense and slammed Rhymefest for using Kanye’s name for clout, trying to pocket the money for himself and not bringing the issue to the couple’s attention while in their presence.
U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s @RHYMEFEST 😂 You’re over levergenging Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation

I saw you at our studio a few weeks ago so why didn’t you bring this up then @RHYMEFEST ? You were trying to get Kanye to listen to your sub par beats. You have the audacity to use Kanye’s mom name to try to shead a negative light on Kanye.

Minutes later Rhymefest, who also co-wrote Kanye’s “Jesus Walks” record, responded back to Kim Kardashian West with, “Hey @KimKardashian good to hear from you. Here’s my response.”

The Donda’s House co-founder said Yeezy was “more interested in his record” and suggested that Kardashian “watch YouTube” videos featuring the organizations work they do for the Youth. He also blasted the reality star for her “privilege from God knows where in the world.”
Donda’s House Inc. released one last statement Sunday morning after the back-and-forth Twitter battle and announced their recent name change that is “effective immediately” as a result of Kardashian’s tweets.

So far there has been no word from Kanye on the entire ordeal.
The organization said it still plans to support Chicago’s youth and community.
