T.I. posted a video of a white man being attacked by a police dog to make his point that law enforcement has become Nazi-like in dealing with people of all races.
The graphic clip starts with an officer breaking the man’s window, and that’s when a large German shepherd latches onto his arm.
From there, the guy began to scream while both officers talked calmly among themselves. They also told him to stop fighting the canine, but there’s nothing in the video that shows he was doing that. According to T.I., the man was pulled over because his vehicle didn’t have a front-end license plate.
Then in the caption space, the rapper wrote a long message about what he believes the police in the U.S. have become these days.
“Justice has no color. Neither does racism,” he stated. “The abuse of power by the policemen that essentially work for US, the tax paying citizens of this country, has become undeniable. It’s been proven scientifically (Look up The Stanford Prison Experiment) that putting people with questionable character and poor principals in positions of power only enhances their worst qualities.”
Tip also said more has to be done on a federal level to stop the brand of policing that’s displayed in the video.
“Ego, hate and fear of inferiority are the underlying source of all these so-called law enforcers (legitimate terrorists I call them) actions,” he wrote. “They have obvious complexes and biases that prevent them from being fair and reasonable service workers. There must be federal ramifications implemented to protect the American People from this type of terrorism ASAP or else, the most negative alternative is inevitable.”
For quite some time now, T.I. has been one of the more outspoken rappers when it comes to dealing with social issues, and he’s expressed his views on social media, in interviews and though his music.
Moreover, the Grand Hustle founder has marched in rallies against police brutality, created scholarships with the Boys & Girls Club, spearheaded food drives and handed out free bicycles to children.
In the last part of his message, the “Us or Else” creator said violent police officers need to be treated just like other groups who are considered dangerous.
“The same way the feds created laws and task forces to come after the Mob or The Crips, Bloods, GDs, VLs, MS13s, crack dealers and pimps, is the same way we the people expect these matters to be handled,” Tip expressed.
“I don’t care what color you are or how much money you have or don’t have. We as Americans (or just human beings) have God given fundamental rights that must be acknowledged at all times. And all of us who just sit back and watch it happen again and again while saying nothing are just as guilty as the perpetrators,” he added.
