A college student decided to shoot her shot for the chance to meet Michael B. Jordan and got the surprise of a lifetime when it worked.

Sylvia Wilson, a 21-year-old Temple University student, learned that Jordan was shooting his new film “Creed II” on campus and decided to offer to buy him a smoothie since she figured it would be more appropriate than getting drinks due to his training. But Jordan declined and offered her a photo instead, according to screenshots provided to BuzzFeed.

“I was like, ‘Oh my goodness!’ And just started freaking out,” Wilson told E! News Thursday, May 4. “He was really nice about everything! He was like, ‘Hey you don’t have to get me a smoothie just come and take pictures.’ But my friends were going to take pictures as well and he was like, ‘You guys can all come together as a group.'”

After agreeing to meet at 2 p.m., Jordan assured Wilson that he’d alert security that they’d be meeting up.

Then, Wilson got the photo-op that went viral.

“He was really nice about it all, we went in and he gave us all hugs and he took pictures with each and every one of us,” she said. “And then there was a group of people who saw us taking pictures with him and he didn’t really want a crowd so he quickly got out of there, and I’m not sure if he took pictures with the other people but we just left.”

Wilson added to BuzzFeed that she continues to get asked about Jordan’s cologne of choice and shared “he smelled like Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works but better.”

Since she posted to pics on Tuesday, May 1, several people have been blowing up Wilson’s mentions gushing over their photo-op.
