Paula Patton has revealed she’s officially moved on from ex-husband Robin Thicke with a new boyfriend who isn’t quite divorced himself.
The star of the upcoming movie “Traffik” told “Extra” during a Monday promotional interview that she loves her boyfriend of one month Zach Quittman. However, soon after Page Six identified him, it was revealed that the realtor is still married.
That led Quittman to issue a statement to People magazine Wednesday, April 18 confirming that Patton is not a homewrecker.
“We were totally separated before I moved on,” he said, adding he and his wife had been a part “for a while”
“Obviously there’s [sic] three sides to every story and I’m not pointing the finger or saying anyone’s wrong, but we were definitely separated before I moved on,” he added of rumors that his estranged wife was blindsided by his famous new girlfriend.
However, Patton’s romance has spawned chatter about how right it is to date before a divorce is finalized. And several remarked on how Patton was faced with Thicke’s cheating ahead of their 2014 split.
“Paula Patton left Robin Thicke for cheating and we had to suffer that horrible ass album, now she’s gallivanting with a married man?” a Twitter user said. “Oh, sis.”
“If she didn’t know [he was married] I would be surprised but the point is she knows now,” another user said. “Why even call it off with Robin for what he did and she’s running around here with a married man now? I don’t do double standards at all. Wrong is just terribly wrong.”
