Wednesday, March. 14, was the official day the Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “On the Run II” pre-sale tickets were made available. With everyone rushing onto Ticketmaster to buy tickets beginning at 9 am, the site had some problems. Many fans complained that tickets were gone by 9:01 and others said the site crashed the moment they tried to check out.

Fans posted the error and their irritation with the site. One fan tweeted, “Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it. I had my #OTRII presale code. I was at my computer on Ticketmaster at 9am. But still, I see ‘Sorry, no tickets match your search’. How are we supposed to compete with these turbo bots. It said no tickets available by 9:01am. 🤬 🤬 🤬

After seeing the issues people were having with the site, the tour’s twitter page tweeted, “Be patient as Ticketmaster deals with a massive online demand. Securing the seats you want may take an extended amount of time. Keep refreshing if no tickets match your search.”
