Massive debates about President Trump saying he’d rather “take the guns first” and then “go through due process second” regarding gun laws for mentally ill people. His comments have many people on defense including Tucker Carlson.

The Fox News host was fired up after hearing Trump’s remarks and expressed how perturbed he was on Thursday’s evening “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and hit the congressmen with the “What if Obama” scenario.

“Now, I mean, how honest do you want to be?” Carlson contemplated for a few seconds. “Imagine if Barack Obama had said that? Just ignore due process and confiscating guns? Obama would have been denounced as a dictator… We would have denounced him first, trust me. Congress would be talking impeachment. Some would be muttering secession.”

The news host continued to scold Trump and said the proposal for raising the limit to obtain a gun is “sneaky propaganda.” Carlson continued by emphasizing constitutional rights and the matter has nothing to do with the president or the NRA.

Carlson added, “The president needs to be reminded of that maybe we all do once in a while. If voters wanted that kind of government they could have voted Democrat.”
