A Florida woman said she was a victim of workplace racism. Terri Silar said she walked into her office and found a stuffed monkey with a noose around its neck with a racist handwritten note attached.
“You are getting deported back to Africa n*gga and that will make America great again”. The bottom of the note was signed “Whites 4 Trump.” She found another note on her computer that said “N*gga b*tch.”
A day earlier, Silar said she had a heated discussion with some co-workers about the Florida shooting and Donald Trump’s stance on gun control. The next day she found the monkey and the notes.
Silar expressed the outrage to her manager and posted details of the incident to her Facebook page. She told WTSP 10 News that she was “shocked, but most of all hurt.” Her office has since opened an internal investigation and Silar said she filed a police report with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
