Actor Taye Diggs said he caught so much flack from the Black community after marrying outside his race that he’s now hesitant about even dating someone who isn’t Black.”I don’t know if I can ever mess with a white girl now,” Diggs said.
During a recent interview with TMZ’s Van Lathan, Diggs said that at one point, he stopped dating white women altogether, for fear of how Black folks would react. Now he’s unsure if he ever will, but stopped short of knocking the possibility completely.
“I feel like I’ve had to deal with that for so long that it has changed what I think I like, or what I am attracted to,” the “Empire” actor explained. “And I don’t like that — that goes against who I am as a person.”
