Earlier in the week “The View” hosts discussed Omarosa Manigault’s claim that Jesus talks to Vice President Mike Pence. In a clip from “Big Brother”, Omarosa said, “As bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence.. I am Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things.” Joy Bahar reacted saying, “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct, hearing voices.”
Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece Dr. Alveda King had something to say about Behar’s comment. While on Fox News Wednesday, Feb. 14 discussing all the good Trump has allegedly done for the Black community, King also jumped to Pence’s defense about being called crazy. First stating that Jesus has spoken to her directly in the past then asked, “Now am I crazy?” Alveda King didn’t stop there however, she referenced MLK, Jr. to show that Pence is in fact not crazy. The activist said “If he’s [Mike Pence] hearing God… Martin Luther King Jr., my uncle said he heard the voice of Jesus say stand up.. is my uncle crazy?”
