Texas pre-k teacher Leigh Bishop went out of her way to celebrate the beauty of one of her students. The Lakeview Elementary teacher saw her student August, with a new braided hairstyle. Bishop instantly gave the little girl a compliment, “Oh my goodness! I love your hair, August! Don’t be mad at me when I come to school with my hair JUST like that tomorrow.” According to Bishop’s post, the little girl didn’t believe her and said “Okay, Ms. Bishop *rolls eyes keeps walking.*”
The next day, to August surprise, her teacher was rocking her look. Bishop then said” You thought I was playing? Girl we are CA-UTE together!!” The smile on little August face speaks volumes.
The caring gesture has gone viral and has made a lasting impression on August.
