Cardi B recently confessed that she felt happier before her fortune came rolling in and by the looks of recent criticism, it’s easy to see why. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper is no stranger to criticism but ever since she graced the Grammys stage Sunday, Jan. 28, the negativity has kicked up a notch.

“One negative thing is that, even though I’m happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money,” she told CR Fashion Book in her cover story per People magazine. “I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt like my life was mine. Now I feel like I don’t even own my life. I feel like the world owns me.”

If the world doesn’t own her, the people in it at least think they can dictate what she does.

While walking the Grammys red carpet, social media personality Nate Garner accused Cardi of ignoring Make-A-Wish kids. He tweeted Monday, Jan. 29 that she “only came back when forced by her publicist to take a quick picture. All of the other stars took time to meet and hug each kid. Not all your favs are as they seem.”

He added he “was just disappointed seeing her use it for publicity as I watched everyone else show these strong kids true love and empathy.”

Never one to shy away from addressing things online, Cardi posted and later deleted a response on Instagram saying she was in a rush since had been running late for soundcheck.

“I’M NOT THAT INDUSTRY B— YOU WANNA TRY,” she added according to screenshots. “I will violate you and in real life as well don’t make me catch your ass again. I will crush you.”

She later replaced that Instagram message with, “A hater do the most to get recognition by the person they HATE!”

Yet the digs didn’t stop there.

Hawk-eyed Instagram users complained that she needed to shave her stomach hair after Moschino posted photos of Cardi in her stage ensemble Sunday.

“Y’all see her happy trail though 😂 she needa shave that stomach,” one person said.

“She better shave her stomach hair before modeling,” another similarly commented.

And while Cardi may come off as tough-as-nails, the scrutiny must have gotten to her because after getting bashed for her teeth during her time on “Love and Hip Hop New York,” she invested in getting them fixed. Plus, folks have also gone after her for her speech, which features slang and a thick New York accent.
