Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue is usually the talk of the town but this year issue is getting attention for other reasons.
Twitter users lost it when they saw images from the photo shoot, shot by Annie Leibovitz. Focusing on the cover, many initially thought Witherspoon had three legs. Then an inside-the-magazine image showed Winfrey with her left arm around Witherspoon … with that same arm in her lap along with the right arm resting by her side.
“Oprah has 3 hands and Reese Witherspoon has 3 legs.. damn Vanity Fair really be exposing people now smh,” someone tweeted.
We always knew Hollywood women are special. @VanityFair celebrity shoot reveals @RWitherspoon has three legs and @Oprah three hands. pic.twitter.com/8TqlQy1ep9

“Dang! @Oprah makes so much money 💵—She’s gotta have 3 hands to count it! 🤣 #VanityFair” another said.
Yet Vanity Fair tweeted there is no mistake in Witherspoon’s appearance. The portion mistook for an extra leg is actually “just the lining of her dress.”
As for Winfrey, the mag tweeted it would correct her three-hand issue online.
Still, the stars of the upcoming “A Wrinkle In Time” had a sense of humor about the error.
I accept your 3d leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾❤️

On the flip side, some zeroed in on the dynamic between Winfrey and Witherspoon on the cover. The media mogul, in a flowing black dress, sits with her arm around the actress, who wears a beige gown.
And the conversation w editorial and photo dir is what: This is what America needs right now? O will feed us, save us, care for us? Also @oprah @RWitherspoon #NicoleKidman how/why do you not see this?

Vanity Fair cover is very strange to me. HERE is Oprah looking powerful with her hands all over the white women.I find this to be kind of sexually perverted and in the times of Harvey Weinstein weird. It looks like Oprah has a sexual attraction slave-like appearance of the women
