The View cast discussed Mo’Nique’s Instagram video where she revealed the pay difference between herself, Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock.
Joy Behar appeared confused about the focus of Mo’Nique’s complaint asking, “I’m not clear is she claiming sexism or racism. First, she said Chris is getting more money. So, what’s her case?”
Then Sunny Hostin chimed in stating “Well women of color traditionally do make the least amount of money. White men make the most, then white women, then black men, and then women of color. We traditionally lose over a million dollars during our lifetime.” Behar retorted, “In this particular case Chris Rock has a bigger following though, doesn’t he?” Hostin then says that women of color don’t get paid equally and “its just not fair”.
In the end, the ladies challenged Netflix to offer a comedy special to Tiffany Haddish and pay like they’re paying the big guys.
