Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg dug deep into his pockets this week by pledging $10,000 to Mother’s Against Police Brutality as part of Colin Kaepernick’s effort to match $1 million in donations made in his name.

Snoop’s generosity came in response to news that a former assistant police chief in Kentucky had encouraged a police recruit to shoot Black teens caught smoking marijuana. Officer Todd Shaw was ousted from the Prospect police force after an investigation found the “highly disturbing racist and threatening Facebook messages” to an unnamed recruit.

The rapper took to social media to blast the officer and his actions.

“Expose his b-tch a–,” Snoop wrote in an Instagram post earlier this week.

Snoop isn’t the only one putting his money where his mouth is for Kaepernick’s cause. So far, celebrities including Serena Williams, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and actor Jesse Williams, among others have donated to the former footballer’s #10for10 pledge.

Kaepernick is down to his last $100,000 to fulfill his promise of donating $1 million to organizations fighting injustice and oppression, pledging $10k over the next 10 days.
