Shawayne Dashawn Williams of St. Michael, Barbados was arrest and charged in the murder of Rihanna’s cousin. Nation News reported the 23-year-old appeared in court Wednesday, Jan. 3, where he was remanded.
His next court date is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31.
Williams shot the “Needed Me” singer’s cousin, Tavon Alleyne, multiple times on Tuesday, Dec. 26. Alleyne had been walking outside around his home when Williams approached him, fired some rounds and took off. Alleyne died of his injuries at a local hospital. The motive of the shooting remains under investigation.
