Tiffany Haddish’s ex-husband is speaking out against the allegations that he abused her. The “Girls Trip” actress wrote in her memoir, “The Last Unicorn,” that the man she married and divorced twice led her to show up to a police station with cuts and bruises, according to excerpts given to E! Online. Now, William Stewart it saying he has never hit a woman.

“I married Tiffany, her issues, and not the Hollywood lifestyle,” Stewart told V-103’s “The Ryan Cameron Morning Show” Thursday, Dec. 14. “I have never beat or hit or called a woman a [sic] ‘MF or B’ while having a disagreement ever in my life.”

He also addressed the claim that his abuse led her to miscarry, which Haddish wrote happened without her ever knowing she was pregnant to begin with.

“I never caused a miscarriage, I have documents to prove this,” Stewart said. “Tiffany advised me about a month ago about the book and she told me that I would be furious.”

Haddish claimed Steward once went into a jealous rage after seeing the comic speaking with fellow comedian Tom Green, writing her husband, “just snatched me by my shirt, and pulled me to the elevator and threw me in it … once we got to our hotel room, he was so quick. He snatched me by the neck and slammed me into the wall.”

Yet, Stewart isn’t going to drag his ex’s name through the mud.

“I’m not gonna try to tear something down that I helped build,” Stewart said. “I just wanna come on this show to tell the truth. I have been seeking legal representation, I don’t wanna bring all the dirt out. Tiffany and I, I believe that we can settle this.”

On Instagram Live, Tuesday, Dec. 5, Haddish admitted that some things in the physical book, ghostwritten by an author who has a controversial past, weren’t quite right. But she didn’t specifically address which portions she was referring to.
