Rep. Maxine Waters delivered a humorous hit against President Donald Trump in the wake of the Alabama Senate race results. Waters, lovingly referred to as Auntie Maxine among Black social media users, called out Trump’s support for Senate hopeful, Republican Roy Moore. And Water’s followers couldn’t get enough.

The hot take is a layered one.

First, it tackles a report from The New York Times that Trump consumes a dozen cans of Diet Coke daily. Then, it proclaims Moore’s historic defeat by Democratic nominee Doug Jones before calling out accusations reported by the Washington Post that Moore preyed on four women when they were teenagers — one of whom said she was 14 while he was a 30-year-old prosecutor.

While Jones has become Alabama’s first Democrat to win a Senate seat in 25 years, many of Waters’ followers were simply focused on the funny zing she delivered.
