Comedian Martin Lawrence is officially off the market after proposing to his girlfriend, Roberta Moradfar.
“And I said ‘YES!'” Moradfar, an aesthetics nurse practitioner, announced on Instagram Friday, March 31. She added the date “marks a huge milestone in my life” and included photos of her and Lawrence cozying up together along with her massive emerald-cut diamond ring.
Moradfar completed the post with hashtags including #LoveofMyLife and #M❤️R, the latter of which was etched into the bottom of Moradfar’s engagement ring.

Custom designed by Iconic Jewels, which donates a percentage of proceeds to a charity of each customer’s choice, Moradfar’s rock is dotted with diamonds around the platinum band. A closer look was revealed on the Beverly Hills, Calif., store’s Instagram page, which hinted the ring would go to “someone very special.”
Whether or not this will be the first marriage for Moradfar is unknown, but she will be bride No. 3 for Lawrence. The actor, who is gearing up to begin filming “Bad Boys for Life” in Atlanta in April, according to Patch, was previously married to former “Hollywood Exes” reality star Shamicka Gibbs from 2010 to 2012 and Miss Virginia USA 1993 Patricia Southall from 1995 to 1996.
Congratulatory messages have poured in for the couple online.
