While “Black-on-Black crime” has been the central conservative talking point when discussing Black America, conservatives and white America have completely ignored their own epidemic of criminal activity.
For a century, Black men have essentially become the face of rape in America, but data show that rape in America is overwhelming carried out by whites. According to FBI statistics from 2011, the most recent ones available, whites accounted for 66. 3 percent of rapes committed. The same data showed that Black people committed only 31 percent.
However, the 2011 report revealed even more startling numbers that beg the question: Why are news pundits, politicians and white America in general silent on white-on-white crime?
