A Samford University football player professed his love for his sweetheart with a proposal that will go down in the history books.
On Saturday, Oct. 15, 21-year-old Deion Pierre recruited his fellow Bulldogs to propose to his girlfriend Jasmine Henderson. In the 2-minute clip, football players encircled the young woman while swinging and sashaying to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Henderson wipes away tears as Pierre’s teammates laid red and white roses at her feet. Then, he takes a knee and offers her a chance for life-long happiness.
Henderson says yes and the two embrace as the crowd cheers with jubilation.
