At one point in time, the Black Church was a staple in the African-American communities nationwide. The civil rights movement, prominent Black leaders and music greats called the Church their home. In many cases, people would credit Christianity for their success. But now a new generation of young Black people have decided to walk away from the “archaic institution” in search of something different.
