Over the weekend, racially charged fliers were distributed on the University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor campus claiming Black men have sexually transmitted diseases.
WXYZ ABC 7 Detroit reports that the fliers were posted in the Mason and Haven Hall buildings on campus.
The fliers entitled “Why White Women Shouldn’t Date Black Men” instructed white female college students to avoid Black students because they may have an STD.
The fliers also state that Black men will kill white women, wipe out white exes, and are prone to violent episodes.
Subsequently, Michigan students told officials about the fliers.
On Monday, the UM Public Affairs office responded with a tweet denouncing the racist propaganda.

The university is currently launching an investigation and has asked students to reach out if they see more fliers.
