On last night’s edition of Fox News’ The Kelly File, host Megyn Kelly and #BlackLivesMatter activist DeRay Mckesson discussed the acquittal of Baltimore officer Edward Nero in the killing of Black resident Freddie Gray.
In the nearly 5-minute interview, Mckesson tells Kelly that Nero’s acquittal “guarantees officers will not be held accountable for their actions.”
The activist believes that the officers posed the biggest threat to Gray. He goes on to say that Gray will not get the justice he deserves.
The Fox News host insists that there was no specific evidence to back up claims of Nero being connected to Gray’s death.
Then the conservative journalist tells Mckesson: “Don’t you see the danger to the community if we start locking up cops for exercising poor judgment?”
Mckesson says that there are five other cases and that the evidence in those cases has yet to been seen.
Kelly interrupts and cuts the activist off as she becomes irritated with his answers.
She implies that the judge being African-American proves there is no racism in the case or the verdict.
Kelly should have been working this hard when she talked to trump smh Girl bye !
kelly is first and foremost a fox employee. fox is racist, and kelly, per her job description, attacks blacks. let's stop pretending this is anything else.
Why do white folks always say, "I'm not racist…I have BLACK friends!" What does that have anything to do with racism? If you wasn't racist…your so called friends wouldn't be "BLACK FRIENDS" they would simply be friends. Geeez
