She Had a Dark Connection to Creek Indians
Sarah Rector was born and raised on a Creek Indian plantation on March 3, 1902, in present-day Oklahoma. Her parents, Joseph and Rose Rector, were descendants of Africans who were enslaved by the Creek. A treaty signed between the U.S. and the Indians emancipated the enslaved people and they became known as “Creek Freedmen.”

She was full blood Creek not African.
What is wrong with being African???? She was born to African Parents so we can conclude that she was African American that was born on the Creek Indian Plantation as a slave unil they were freed because White folks thought there were no value in the land. Some forget that Indian owned slaves as well to fit in with the Europeans until that tables were turned against them.
