Kerry Washington is growing her family with her ex-footballer husband. Her pregnancy effectively puts divorce rumors to rest.

Us Weekly reports the star attempted to hide her baby bump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner April 30. She attended the event with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

Washington, 39, wore a slightly billowy one-shoulder black gown with ruffles at the bottom. She paired the look with strappy black sandal heels. A matching clutch was held in front of her stomach.

The news comes a little more than two years after Washington and Asomugha, 34, brought their first child – daughter Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha –  into the world. She was born April 21, 2014. According to People, the now 2-year-old’s birth was not announced initially. Sources only revealed the birth to the public two weeks after it happened.

At a panel at South by Southwest in March, Washington did not address the continuous rumors of an impending divorce.

“If I don’t talk about my personal life, it means I don’t talk about my personal life,” Washington said at the panel in Austin. “That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t refute them, because I don’t talk about my personal life.”

Washington addressed her decision back in 2013 in an interview with Glamour magazine.

“I learned through experience that it doesn’t work for me to talk about my personal life. I’ve had earlier times in my career when I did talk about it. I was on the cover of a bridal magazine [InStyle Weddings, in 2005, when Washington was engaged to actor David Moscow]. But I couldn’t just turn around and say, ‘I only want to talk about the good stuff, but not the bad stuff.’ So I just thought, ‘OK, no more.’ “
