On Friday’s episode of the daytime talk show The Real, Tia Mowry-Hardrict tells body-shamers that all women are beautiful no matter their size.
In the video, the actress known for The Game (2000s) and Sister, Sister (1990s) gives a passionate response after being the target of fat-shamers last year.
She said a commenter on social media called her fat, insinuating that she is unhealthy. The actress responded to the lady and even notified her place of employment about the online harassment.
Last year, Mowry-Hardrict was bullied by her Instagram followers because she had apparently picked up weight. According to CNN, many of her followers thought she was pregnant.
“I’m just enjoying life, and when I want to drop the pounds, I will, but right now I’m happy with who I am,” she said last year. “But it is a form of body-shaming, I will say that, and it’s pretty unfortunate.”
