On Friday, a 49-year-old police trainee killed a 19-year-old college student who they claimed broke into a car dealership.

Christian Taylor, a football player at Angelo State University, was unarmed officials said.

Arlington Police were notified of a possible burglary attempt at the GMC Classic Buick dealership. Taylor was reportedly in the showroom when officers approached him and an “altercation” ensued. During the alleged struggle, Taylor was shot and killed.

Social media quickly disputed the reports and #ChristianTaylor soon became another trending hashtag brining awareness to police violence against unarmed Black men and women.

Soon social media discovered that Taylor himself expressed his fear of police and disdain for police treatment of Blacks.

  1. They don't care about us brother… Here's what they did to our fellow brother in my hometown in New Jersey. We're sill fighting for answers as they try to cover this up!! #JusticeForPhillipWhite

  2. This is getting really stupid. I won't bring up the fact that a 17 impersonated an FBI agent and stole a dodge charger from MI and crashed in OH. Was he shot to death? No, of course not.
