After Giving Birth, Enslaved Women Had to Carry Their Babies to the Field

Always the same damn story. Could you please write about how the moors were here in America before the Europeans or how the moors gave the Europeans their written history. Tell the story about the blacks that were free and never enslaved. We were more than just slaves.

Linda Harper No excuse. An up rising is when all the people rise up, considering how long and how many people were suffering, those who did fight, it did not help matters one little bit, it was like they didn't rise up, made things worse. What they did in Haiti, is what I call an uprising, 50,000 men army. Nat Turner had less than a hundred.

I'm not making excuses but I'm not going to condemn my ancestors in bondage either. I was not there so I can't say what they should have done. But I do know that Haiti was not being controlled by the same people as in America and also Haiti logistics cannot be compared to
those here. Therefore they may have been better able and equipped to plot and carry out their revolution.

several factors, the field and house slave division is probably where it started , then things after slavery like us dividing ourselves into dark skinned and "light enough to pass" who has "good hair" and "bad hair". Hell even great leaders like booker t and W.E.B dubiose had totally different outlooks on what would lead us to prosperity. We've been riding the division train hard for a good couple centuries now.

Linda Harper Haiti not controlled by same people, but they were they were the same people all over the world. As for the Haiti's war, yes they feared all ove, the same thing would happen in the Carrabbean again, and America, that is why Thomas Jefferson did everything he could to support the sanctions against Haiti to teach others if they made another move like that they would suffer. I appreciate your point, but to me there is no excuse to allow people to kill your family, including your children, there is a time for everything, if they didn't rise up for that, what would have made them rise up?

  15. It makes you wonder if we're not subliminally enslaved mentally with our constant thrust to become intergrated into this barbaric, genocidal prone eurocentric progeny of former felons, social outcasts and miscreants now called white Americans. Why do we want any association with them?

  16. They will pay for this sooner than they think. We need to wake up Hebrews to who we really are. Shalom.

  21. Get your heads out of slavery……..YOU TOOK DOWN THE FLAG NOW TAKE THE FOURTH….

Black people stop with all the backward slave thinking and think ahead with original thoughts and fresh ideas.

In any war the first thing your adversary does is to find the opponents airfield and give the order to the troops to take their airfield and make it ours so regardless to what the 4th of July means to your adversary take the 4th of JULY from them and make it yours.

Celebrate the 4th of July that you are free and not locked up doing 75 years to life, homeless, diseased or in a wheelchair depending on the generosity of strangers.

Inasmuch as black people are under siege in this country celebrate the 4th of July that you are free and have not been swept up by the forces that roam the streets 24 hours a day like slave catchers looking to take you down.

Celebrate July as the most exciting time for you to be alive. Celebrate the 4th for escaping the net, staying off the radar to live and die free.
