The Southern Poverty Law Center produced an interactive map counting the number of hate groups spread out across the United States.
According to the results, these are the states with the most branches of hate groups against minorities. This includes the Ku Klux Klan, White Nationalists, anti-Muslims, skinheads, neo-Nazis and more.
Texas
Texas has 43 different branches of hate groups against people of color. Despite Texas’ massive size, most of the groups are concentrated in east and northeast Texas. There are 21 different Klan branches in the state.
