YOU SHOULD HAVE CONSULT WITH "NATIVE" AFRICANS ON THIS ONE…. Kofi Annan , Thabo Mbeki? Really? Talk to us and we will tell you what we really think of some of the figures you put in here.
Thank you for this informative photos of our inspirational people.
.
Be proud of you and y0ur ROOTS.
So true, I was shocked to see the likes of Mbeki and Kofi Annan
Can you elaborate on your shock of having Annan & Mbeki on the list?
No President Masire from Botswana? Or did I miss him?
I opposed the name of Yoweri Museveni Uganda president to be among the Icons.
Y. Museveni has blood in his hands. Genocide in Rwanda; massacre in Uganda ever happen before him; massacre in RD Congo. He rules with ethnic division as his politic system. pledge ties with Israel then he gain support of G.W.Bush administration, he use that support to attack rebel leader he fail to catch him then he massacre 600 children and women from rebel leader tribe. HRW complain about it but nothing happen once he is pro-west. Try to put names of leaders ruling their countries without foreign support and before taking someone as icon you must be well informed about him. Please.
An iconic figure isn't necessarily a good person. An icon is someone who's name and deeds should be remembered as inspiration or as a warning.
Senghor was a real house nigga. He had nothing to do on this list. He spent his life defending french neo colonial interest in french speaking Africa till his death.

This is excellent. We need to be informed of the good the bad and the ugly. That is how we know what to do and where to go next. Thank you.
Hans Massaquoi would have been nice also but overall I'm impressed.
Could it be that you have forgotten Wangari Maathai?
Abby Nixon they are both "white man's puppet'…. Naturally!
