Peter Pan, 1953
In Peter Pan, Disney paints an ultra-stereotypical depiction of the Native Americans in the film. All the characters were drawn to have bright red skin and barely able to communicate in English except for in the song Red Man, which included every Native American stereotype except for gambling and alcoholism.
Aladdin, 1992
This film gave us the extremely inflammatory reference to Middle Eastern people that stated: “Where they cut off your ear if they don’t like your face./It’s barbaric, but hey./It’s home.”
