As a descendent of the Johnsons of Andros and of Dr. Johnson, please know that James Weldon Johnson and his brother Rosamond Johnson, writers of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" are the sons of parents from Fresh Creek Andros. Their Mother was a Dillet and their Father was a Johnson. This area now has a missile base on it called AUTEC.
