Tonight the first episode of “Gang Related” airs on Fox.
Ryan’s partner is killed by a well-known hoodlum, so he teams up with a veteran cop with a knowledge of the streets to find out who did it.
The show revolves around Ryan Lopez, a gang member sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rise through its ranks. He must balance his obligations to his crime family and the gang from his old neighborhood with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new family, the SFPD’s Gang Task Force.
“Gang Related” season 1, episode 1 airs May 22 at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
