Determination and Commitment to Goals (Mandela)
Changing the world is obviously not an easy thing to do. Along the way there will be setbacks and opposition to any plan, no matter how positive the goal. This is why determination is such a vital trait. The ability to stick to a plan, and persevere despite the opposition is essential trait that all great leaders share.
The late South African President Nelson Mandela, who spent 28 years in prison for his protests of apartheid in his native land, demonstrated that amazing transformations that can be accomplished by standing by our convictions and being willing to work hard for them.
