Body Found in Indiana Lake May Be That of Missing Dr. Teleka Patrick

teleka patrick 2The body of missing Kalamazoo doctor Teleka Patrick may have been found in a lake in Indiana.

A body was found in Lake Charles Sunday morning.

Police have yet to identify the body officially, but Patrick’s mother says that it was her daughter’s body.

Another family member says that they hadn’t received confirmation yet.

“Our family was informed that a body was found that may be our daughter Teleka Patrick. We are waiting for official confirmation from the Kalamazoo Sheriff’s Department and have no comment at this time. Thank you for your continued prayers — we ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time,” the family member said.

A man fishing in the lake said he saw something floating in the water at Lake Charles around 7:10 a.m. and called the police.

Police searched Lake Charles in January when it was still frozen over, but that search did not reveal anything related to Patrick’s case. Last week, authorities also conducted a land search near where Patrick’s car was found. That search was also fruitless.

Patrick was last seen the evening of Dec. 5, 2013 in the parking lot of Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Her car was found later that night off I-94 near Porter. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department has said she was headed to Chicago to visit a relative.

There are no friends. There are only associates and family. Therefore, be careful of all females and all males. The bigger lesson or big picture from this is to tell young children that we live in a world with less morals and less fear of Jesus. In addition, we shall never know if there was foul play. This is a familar theme with certain groups in our society. When their bodies turn up, it is an automatic no foul play situation. If shot and killed, then the other person had to use self-defense. In other words, some lives are valued less for some reason. In contrast, for some women of other groups, just being missing is enough to rule foul play.

Sundiata Keita white women and white men both kill. She could have been killed by any race or person though. We don't know the facts yet. But, if this is going to be a White thing, then I would add (maybe you don't agree) that one should be careful of white men and white women. Both possible.
