“NCIS” season 11, episode 18: “Crescent City, Part I” airs tonight on CBS.
In this episode, when the body of Congressman Dan McLane, a former NCIS agent, washes ashore in New Orleans, Gibbs reunites with his former colleague, NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride, in a joint case between the two field offices and the FBI. The teams must work together to determine if the murder was politically motivated or linked to McLane’s most well-known case, the arrest of the Privileged Killer, a serial murderer who targeted military and public servants.
“NCIS” series is based on the cases of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, special agents traverse the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties. With liberal doses of humor, the show focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations.
The agents include special agent Anthony DiNozzo; an ex-homicide detective; special agent Ziva David, probably the most dangerous team member; and special agent Timothy McGee, a MIT graduate with a genius talent in the computer field. Forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, also assists the team along with Medical Examiner Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard. Head of operations is NCIS Director Leon Vance, who is an intelligent and highly trained agent.
