‘Criminal Minds’ Season 9, Episode 16: ‘Gabby’

The Road Home

On tonight’s “Criminal Minds season 9, episode 16: “Gabby,” a 4-year-old girl goes missing while staying with a relative in Mississippi and the BAU uncovers some startling truths as the team races to find the child and bring her to safety.

“Criminal Minds” is based on an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country’s most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit’s most experienced agent is David Rossi, a founding member of the BAU, who returns to help the team solve new cases. The team is led by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, a strong profiler who is able to gain people’s trust and unlock their secrets.

Other team members include Jennifer “J.J.” Jareau, Penelope Garcia, Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid and Special Agent Derek Morgan. Dr. Reid is a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high. Garcia is a computer wizard who helps research the cases. Jareau is the team’s confident unit liaison who was called to a top Pentagon job, but returns to the BAU under mysterious circumstances. Each individual provides their own area of knowledge as they identify predators’ reasons and determine their emotional stimulates in the attempt to stop them.
