“American Idol” season 13, episode 12: “15 Boys Perform” premieres tonight on FOX.
Rush Week was under way on “American Idol.” Last night nerves played a big part in the night’s vocals, when each female performer became aware she made it to the top 10 only minutes before she was to perform, resulting in many lackluster performances. Tonight the guys will be subjected to the same set of rules. Will they fare better? On Thursday, five girls and five guys will be voted into the Top 13 by America, while the other three will be chosen as the judges’ “wild cards.” Who do you think deserves a spot? Also Randy Jackson continues his role as in-house mentor.
Here’s Fox’s description of “American Idol” season 13:
“Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, American Idol XIII features a new all-star judging panel, including Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr., along with in-house mentor Randy Jackson. Seacrest and the judges travel across the country, with stops in Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Detroit; Omaha, Neb., Salt Lake City; and San Francisco, searching for those who have the potential to transform from an everyday singer into a successful recording artist and join the ranks of famous idol alumni, such as Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, Scotty McCreery and Phillip Phillips.”
