'Community' Season 5, Episode 6: 'Analysis of Cork-Based Networking'

“Community” season 5, episode 6: “Analysis of Cork-Based Networking” airs Thursday on NBC.

Coming up on the next episode, it’s time for the midterm dance and Annie sets about getting the Greendale cafeteria ready for the festivities. She and Professor Hickey team to navigate Greendale’s custodial corridors of power and must negotiate with Bob Waite, the politically savvy Greendale head custodian, and his right-hand man, Lapari. They must also contend with Debra Chambers, Greendale’s head of I.T. and Waldron, Greendale’s head of parking, in what becomes an increasingly complex hierarchy of staff.

NBC describes the show as follows:

“A smart comedy series about higher education – and lower expectations. The student body at Greendale Community College is made up of high-school losers, newly divorced housewives, and old people who want to keep their minds active. Within these not-so-hallowed halls, “Community” focuses on a band of misfits, at the center of which is a fast-talkin’ lawyer whose degree has been revoked (Joel McHale), who form a study group and end up learning a lot more about themselves than they do about their course work.”

“Community” season 5, episode 6,  Jan.30 at 8 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. CST on NBC.
