21-Year-Old White Girl Boasts Racist African Birthday Party on Facebook
In October, a 21-year-old Australian woman decided to have an African party called, “This Is Africa” to celebrate her birthday. Subsequently she posted photos of her party on Facebook and decided to keep them up, despite several complaints that the pictures were racist. The girl offered an explanation: “I was Cleopatra and did not encourage my guests to wear anything racist simply to come as something African-Inspired.”
