Dracula Season 1, Episode 7: Servant to Two Masters

“Dracula” season 1, episode 7: “Servant to Two Masters” premieres tonight on NBC.

In this week’s episode, The Order tries to discredit Grayson’s pioneering technology as he unveils it in a public spectacle. Also, Grayson uses Van Helsing’s experimental sunlight serum to throw suspicious enemies off his path, but the serum’s effects are only temporary. Browning invites Harker to join the capitalists after sensing his frustration at being unable to implicate Dracula in the General Shaw expose without revealing his own role in the fraud – but Lucy tempts the journalist with a far tastier offer. Meanwhile, the vampire tries to resist his bloodthirsty urges when he helps Mina organize a dance for the patients of her father’s hospital.

It’s the late 19th century, and the mysterious Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He’s especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night – useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan…until he becomes infatuated with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.

“Dracula” season 1, episode 7: “Servant to Two Masters” airs Friday Jan. 3, at 10:00 p.m. EST on NBC. Take a look at the sneak peek video  below:
