Mistaken Identity

On tonight’s “Blue Bloods” season 4, episode 10: “Mistaken Identity,” Danny and Baez investigate a local bombing, but meet with tension and resistance from the community during the investigation. Meanwhile, Frank must deal with the political fallout when a man punches an officer who was overly aggressive in his questioning.

‘”Blue Bloods” is based on the Irish-American Reagan family of police officers, who are employed by the New York City Police Department. Francis “Frank” Reagan (Tom Selleck), who was a U.S. Marine and a Vietnam veteran before he joined the NYPD, is the police commissioner. He is a widower whose son Joe was killed in the line of duty. Now, he has three other adult children remaining, Danny, Erin, and Jamie.

Danny, played by Donnie Wahlberg, is a lead detective who holds a detective first grade ranking with the NYPD, but his hot head sometimes leads him to do things his way, and not by the book. Danny also went to the military– he too is a Marine veteran having served time in the Iraq War.

“Erin (Bridget Moynahan) is an assistant district attorney in Manhattan who prosecutes many of the criminals Danny busts. Jamie (Will Estes), Frank’s youngest child, is a recent graduate of Harvard Law School and is a fresh officer on the police force, having recently gone through commencement from the police academy.”

“Blue Bloods” season 4, episode 10: “Mistaken Identity,” airs Friday, Dec. 13, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS. Spoiler video below:
