A$AP Ferg busted on the rap scene this year with the release of his debut album Trap Lord, and his biggest song so far is undeniably “Shabba” which is an ode to danchall legend Shabba Ranks.
Now A$AP Ferg is taking things a step further by releasing a “Shabba” remix that features Busta Rhymes, Migos and Shabba Ranks himself.

“Today, ASAP Ferg teams up with Busta Rhymes, Migos, and dancehall singer Shabba Ranks for a remix to the Trap Lord standout ‘Shabba.’ Joining the track that bares his name, Ranks and his rapid-fire patois help infuse the whole affair with an air of abandonment. From there, Fergenstein tosses in a new verse, matching oddball wordplay (“Two bad chicks in my vehicle/Yellow hood rats like Pikachu”) with an extra manic delivery. While Ferg remains firmly in the spotlight, the random rhymes and guttural noises from Migos and Busta’s triple-speed flow further flesh out this totally bizarre but utterly infectious slice of dancehall-meets-trap-music.”
Shabba also made an appearance in A$AP Ferg’s “Shabba” video. However, the remix takes things to an entirely new level as the dancehall legend Shabba shows that he’s still able to flow with the best of them.
