Kanye West is carefully crafting a reputation as an artist who likes to buck the system. While his ongoing rants on classicism and racism are creating meaningful conversations, West is also hoping to fight against anyone who undervalues his fiancee Kim Kardashian.
The “Power” rapper has been on a recent campaign to convince anyone listening that the reality starlet is more influential than first lady Michelle Obama, deserves the cover of top fashion magazine Vogue and more than qualifies for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has it made clear that they have no intention of honoring Kim K with a star and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss happens to agree.
In a recent interview with The Jasmine Brand, Burruss explains:
“To me, I don’t really see – not just for being a reality TV star, you have to be doing something other than reality just in order to get a star on the Walk of Fame,” she said. “I mean to me, with reality, they’re just being themselves and acting a little crazy. But the people who are on the Hollywood Walk of Fame – to me, they’ve really worked hard to earn that. So I don’t know about…that’s different.”
It won’t be long before West adds Burruss to his sh** list as he recently did with Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, who dared to give him advice on what he needs to focus on.
“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile he sells all this sh** product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh** product,” West said.
