Michael Jordan Reveals His Ideal All-Time Pickup Team

In a recent promotion for a video game, former NBA superstar Michael Jordan named his ideal all-time unbeatable pickup team, and revealed his favorite dunk of his career.

Jordan chose himself, former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen, Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon, and Lakers’ James Worthy and Magic Johnson as his best team in a pickup game.

“I got no chance of losing. None at all,” he said in the video for NBA 2K14.

Out of all the incredible dunks in his career, Jordan talked his slam on former Knicks all-star Patrick Ewing in the 1991 playoffs, as his favorite. In that game, Jordan spun off of Charles Oakley and posterized Ewing at the hoop with a one-hand slam.

Jordan said he thinks about that dunk “very, very often.”

“I told him, Georgetown guys don’t block shots, they take charges,” Jordan said. “I dunked it on him so hard it was unbelievable. Every time I see him, that’s the first thing I remind him of.”

Jordan also said his 1997 jam on Dikembe Mutombo was also one of his favorites. After the dunk, MJ did the Mutombo signature waving of the finger as he went back down the court.
