Dallas Mavericks’ Vince Carter was ejected from Wednesday’s game after he threw a retaliation elbow to the jaw of OKC’s rookie Steven Adams.
Carter had decided he’d had enough from Adams, after he received a vicious elbow to the side of his head while playing defense on Adams. To make matters worse, the referees missed the call. So Carter took matters into his own hands and tried to teach the rookie a lesson with a retaliatory jaw cracking right elbow.
After the officials reviewed the call, Adams was given a technical foul for the initial elbow, which did not appear intentional. Carter was charged with a Flagrant Two and was subsequently ejected for his dirty act.
Carter left the game with no points, one rebound and two assists.
